The story so far...

From an early age, I've nurtured a dream of bringing my creative visions to life on stage and screen. I started playing for bands in college while pursuing a visual communication degree at Loyola College Chennai. The exposure to films, music, and conversations sparked my introspection about my journey in this world.

Performing and producing music ignited my interest in embarking on this artistic journey. I aspired to become a composer and ventured into various industries, including film, TV, radio, and games, after completing my Masters Diploma in Music Production from Point Blank, London (2011). This educational journey significantly shaped my path, all while gaining experience in the industry. As the indie artist in me sought something new, I became a key figure in the revolution of Tamil independent music.

My breakthrough project, "Kurangan," became one of the first Tamil indie acts to garner a massive following, paving the way for a wave of Tamil indie artists. After parting ways with Kurangan, I directed and produced "The Casteless Collective," the most successful Tamil indie project to date. Recognizing that the future of independent music in India relied on brave local heroes, I built a wholesome agenda with them, starting with English funk and rock music.

My experience working with bands, artists, writers, and studios allowed me to enjoy live performances while aspiring to be a bandleader and producer. To overcome the limitations of an exclusive artist ecosystem, I established a robust collaborative platform. Pioneering transformative projects, I nurtured innovation within the independent scene, evolving into an adventurous art explorer and capable leader.

Founding Madras Medai and The Madras Indie Collective facilitated collaboration and fostered dynamic discussions. The inclusive Madras Medai festival became Chennai's premier independent music event, propelling emerging talents forward. Beyond my role as an artist, I passionately advocate for independent artists, fueled by a clear vision and unwavering dedication that inspires aspiring talents.

Venturing into Tamil cinema in 2019, my albums like "Irandam Ulagaporin Kadaisi Gundu," "Dhammam," and "Natchathiram Nagargiradhu" gained recognition. However, this journey wasn't without obstacles. Navigating an exclusive artist landscape compelled me to pioneer strategic endeavors, collaborate globally, and forge affiliations that honed my leadership skills and enriched my artistic voyage.
